Giving Up
Owners give up or quit trying because they don’t reach their deadline for “success” by a certain time in life. ๐ฟ
It’s pretty common thinking. ๐คจ
Maybe they’ve said, “I’ll give it 1 more year and if I’m still not successful, I’ll look into doing something else.”
Sometimes they believe they have to hit a certain level of success by their next milestone birthday.
“I have to be successful before I turn 40!” ๐
Maybe it was 35, or even 50, whatever the age, they decided to mail it an afterward because they didn’t reach their success by then.
Sure, there’s people who hit it big when their younger. Yes, there’s company owners who find success in a few short years. ๐ฐ
But that doesn’t mean you have to give up or go do something else because it didn’t happen for you on your preferred schedule.
You feel like you’re running out of time. Listen, I get it. I really do. Time moves faster as you get older. โ๏ธ
Personally, I had to get help from a coach (several coaches) because although I knew I could eventually figure things out, I also knew I was running out of time.
I wasn’t going to give up and my family needed me too much for me to go into auto-pilot. I had to get help to help my days become more valuable in the time I had left.
But you don’t have to give up.
And you certainly don’t have to quit trying.
You have time, but you may need to make some changes to how you’re spending (investing) your time.
